JCI#6 - Spiral Pop-Up Card
For Stacey's Jewelry Color Inspiration Challenge #6, I decided to make a spiral pop-up card. These have been all the rage since Stampin' Up!'s Convention. Glad I finally got around to making one - it was alot of fun.
For this card, I cut the prongs off the silver brads so that the prongs wouldn't show through on the inside of my card. I added dots similar to the dots on the heart image around my white cardstock piece using an old olive marker. For the paper piercing on the bottom of the card, I poked through both cardstock layers so the piercing would appear on the top and bottom inside of the card.
Stamp set: always; Inks: baja breeze, kiwi kiss, old olive; Cardstock: baja breeze, kiwi kiss, old olive, whisper white; Embellishments: old olive wide grosgrain ribbon, silver brads; Punches: 1-3/4" circle, 1-3/8" circle, 1-1/4" circle; Tools: paper piercer, mat pack, paper snips

just gorgeous, tara! thanks for playing this week:)
