Color Inspiration Challenge #25: Tri-fold Card
Sorry I've been M.I.A. I've been busy hemming pants, sewing on Brownie patches, etc. I did get a chance to scrapbook today so look for those pages over the next few days.
Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration Challenge #25 is a great one. I love the colors from this Ikea ad.
Here's my card. I wanted to mix it up a bit, so I chose to do a tri-fold card. Start with a piece of cardstock measuring 4 x 11-1/8". Score along the longest side at 4", 3-5/8", and 3-1/2". Fold the shortest side in first, then the middle and use a slit punch on the longest side to hold this folded piece closed. I've included a shot from the top of the card while it's partially open.
Stamp set: happiness always; Inks: certainly celery, so saffron, ruby red; Cardstock: ballet blue, so saffron, whisper white; Embellishments: earth elements brads, certainly celery grosgrain ribbon; Tools: paper piercer, mat pack, slit punch

Great card, love this set, it's one of my favorites!
