My youngest, Seth, is graduating from pre-K this coming Tuesday night, so I knew a card was in order. Plus, I couldn’t resist getting the cute, new Go, Graduate stamp set in the Summer mini catalog! I put this card together with Seth in mind….choosing bright, happy colors to fit his personality. Paper from the Pawsitively Prints DSP pack was perfect for the look I wanted, as was the new Extra-Large Cogs Double punch. I stamped an “S” for Seth in the center of the cog using the new Rough Type alphabet.
Here’s how I made my cog embellishment layers (bottom to top):
- Extra-large cogs double punch (designer orange cog shape)
- Stampin’ dimensional
- 3/4” circle punch (white cardstock)
- Center from the Extra-large cogs double punch (designer olive circle shape)
- 1/2” circle punch (blue cardstock)
Seth’s graduation “ceremony” is going to be a little bittersweet. While I’ll be happy to say goodbye to those daycare payments come fall, I’m sad that he’s growing up so fast and that he’s my last baby to hit this milestone!
Stamp sets: rough type alphabet, go, graduate; Inks: ballet blue, old olive, basic black, pumpkin pie; Cardstock: ballet blue, old olive, whisper white, pawsitively prints DSP; Tools: extra-large cogs double punch, 3/4” circle punch, 1/2” circle punch, blender pen

cute! I don't know what to do with that cog punch, so it's nice to see it on action!
