Today’s post features the 2nd page of my 2-page layout (see my last post for Page 1). I tend to work on one page at a time when I’m scrapbooking and when it comes time to create the 2nd page of a 2-page layout, I like to tie them together. Here are a few tips for coordinating your pages in a 2-page layout:
- Use the same color cardstock as the base for both pages. I made both of my bases black.
- If you are using designer paper, use it on both pages. I used the swirly pattern paper & the snowflake pattern paper on both of my pages.
- Use similar embellishments on both pages. I used 2 red brads on both pages.
- Duplicate part of your 1st page on your 2nd page. I used a full page of color blocking on my 1st page and then mimicked the look on the 2nd page with a smaller “color block” created with 2 photos and my journaling strip.
