I've seen these 3-D scallop circle posies on several blogs. Though someone has likely already created a tutorial for these, I failed to jot down any of the links, so I've created my own tutorial to share with all of you. If you're like me, you love finding new uses for Stampin' Up! punches. These 3-D flowers are so easy to make and they look gorgeous, especially with our Designer Series Paper. Mix and match patterns for a unique look!
1. Punch 3 scallop circles out of cardstock (patterned paper works the best because it's not as thick as our regular cardstock).
2. Imagine each scallop as a pie-shaped wedge.
A. On the bottom scallop, cut slits on both sides of one scalloped wedge. Apply adhesive (Tombow Multi-Purpose Adhesive glue works great) on the back of this scallop.
B. On the middle scallop, completely cut out one scallop wedge. Apply adhesive to the back of one of the scallop wedges near the new opening.
C. On the top scallop, completely cut out 3 adjacent scallop wedges. Apply adhesive to the back of one of the scallop wedges near the new opening.
Your scallops should look like this (before adhesive is applied).
3. Pull the open edges of your scallop shapes together, closing the slits or openings so that the scallop with the adhesive overlaps the scallop on the other side of the slit/opening. This will cause your scallop shapes to become 3-dimensional flower "cones".
4. Now place your finger inside each cone and push down gently, somewhat flattening the tips so they stack easier. Your flower cones will look like this.
5. Stack the flower cones inside one another and secure them either by:
A. Placing a mini glue dot at the bottom of each, or
B. Attaching a brad through all 3 cones.
6. Now create some leaves for your flower. Run a piece of scrap designer series paper through your crimper and punch out 2 oval shapes using our Small Oval Punch. Fold these in half length-wise for an even more realistic leaf look. Attach your leaves to the bottom of the flowers.
7. For my example, I wanted to add my flower to the top of a metal favor tin from Target. I punched a scallop circle out of white cardstock and laid that down on top of the tin lid, then adhered my 3-D posy & leaves on top. I finished off the flower by adding a certainly celery button to the center and then wrapped my tin with a pieces of soft-sky double stitched ribbon. You could also finish the inside of your flower by placing a small piece of knotted ribbon or a halfback pearl from our Pretties Kit inside the flower center.

Fill the tin with candy or bird seed to make a cute bridal or baby shower favor. Use colors from the event to personalize these even more.
Cardstock: whisper white, spring silhouettes designer series paper
Embellishments: certainly celery button, soft sky double-stitched ribbon
